Joseph Ulee Quintana

For 35 years Joseph worked with the Pueblo de Cochiti Maintenance Department.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses and working in his father’s field when he was growing up.  He wants to work at KCLC because he would like to see the children go back to talking our language all the time and for them to learn all the Cochiti traditions like singing, dancing and playing games he used to play.  He likes children very much and believes they are gifts from Mother Nature and we should accept them with all our hearts and never forget them, no matter what.
