I believe KCLC is a vital component of tribal initiatives mainly because it upholds the values of the Pueblo.  Children of the Pueblo are highly encouraged to learn the ways of the Pueblo through cultural and academic curricula where the language is encouraged.  It warms my heart to hear our children utilize the language throughout their lives.  I value that our elders are a significant component because they are our knowledge keepers.

I’m excited to be part of the board because I’d love to contribute my knowledge so that I can improve and support the school and its endeavors about indigenous education
